Job Summary

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics NAV Developer with around 8 years of experience in designing developing and customizing NAV (Navision) solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of ERP business processes backend development and database management using SQL. The role involves working closely with functional teams to develop enhancements integrations and reporting solutions to support business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and customize Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) solutions based on business requirements.

Implement new features enhancements and extensions using C/AL and AL languages.

Develop and maintain backend components data models and stored procedures using SQL Server.

Perform system upgrades migrations and patches to maintain application stability and compatibility.

Integrate NAV with external systems and third-party applications through APIs or web services.

Support data extraction reporting and analytics for various business units.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance Operations and IT) to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.

Conduct code reviews unit testing and deployment following best practices.

Provide post-deployment support and troubleshoot application or database issues.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all NAV developments and customizations.

Required Skills & Expertise:

Strong experience (8 years) in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision development and customization.

Proficient in C/AL AL and Visual Studio Code for Business Central extensions.

Solid understanding of SQL Server including stored procedures triggers and performance optimization.

Experience with integration techniques (APIs OData web services EDI).

Good understanding of ERP processes such as finance inventory and supply chain.

Familiarity with Power BI or reporting tools for NAV data extraction is a plus.

Experience with version upgrades (NAV to Business Central) preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central Certification preferred.
