Job Summary
Position: DevOps Cloud Engineer
Location: Columbus Ohio (Downtown)
Client: State of Ohio
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Cloud Engineer to design implement and support cloud-based IT solutions. This role requires advanced expertise in Azure and AWS along with a strong focus on automation infrastructure management and collaboration with technical teams. The ideal candidate will work on-site in downtown Columbus leading efforts to enhance cloud services and integrate legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and operation of cloud platforms (Azure AWS etc.)
- Oversee automation processes and minimize manual workflows
- Deploy and manage containers and Kubernetes environments
- Integrate legacy systems with cloud solutions
- Provide technical support and lead incident response efforts
Required Skills:
- Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
- Current Azure AZ-305 and AWS Solutions Architect Professional certifications
- 5 years of experience with cloud platforms in an enterprise environment
- Advanced experience in Kubernetes Docker and Terraform
- Strong communication skills for presenting to technical and business audiences
