Job Summary
As a Video Production Intern you will support our video production team in all phases of video creation from planning and shooting to editing and post-production. You will gain hands-on experience working with camera equipment lighting and production tools and help us create high-quality video content for our digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and organizing video shoots (location scouting shot lists props)
Operate camera equipment during shoots DSLRs mirrorless or other video cameras
Help set up lighting audio and other production gear on set
Capture B-roll interviews and behind-the-scenes footage
Assist with post-production: ingest organize and backup footage
Contribute creative ideas for video content storyboarding and shot planning
Maintain and manage video equipment including checking camera settings battery levels and gear maintenance
Work closely with the production manager or creative lead to meet timelines and deliverables
Qualifications / Skills Required
Currently pursuing (or recently graduated) a degree in Film Media Communications or a related field
Basic understanding of video production principles framing exposure lighting
Hands-on experience or familiarity with cameras (DSLR mirrorless or professional video cameras)
Some experience (or willingness to learn) video editing software like Adobe Premiere Final Cut or similar
Good organizational skills ability to manage media assets backup footage and maintain gear
Creative mindset with an eye for visual storytelling and composition
Strong communication skills and ability to take constructive feedback
Willingness to work flexible hours including on-set shoots as needed
Portfolio or demo reel (even class projects or personal work) is a plus
