Job Summary

Work Flexibility: Field-based

As the Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic and operational plan to drive sales growth and achieve financial targets. This role involves leading and managing direct teams fostering collaboration across divisions and working closely with key stakeholders to ensure commercial success. A strong focus on team leadership cross-functional collaboration and market development will be essential to drive sustainable business growth and high performance.

You will be responsible for the overall management of your region (greater Johannesburg Mpumalanga and Free State) developing and leading your team and taking ownership for sales and budgets within your territory.

Opportunities for maximizing customer service along with acquiring new customers will be a pivotal part of your role so a proven history of delivering exceptional results (individually and through your team) over an extended period is key.

You will passionately drive performance with accountability & integrity.

What you will do

  • Manage and grow sales performance within your region.

  • Lead mentor and develop your team fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and financial plans including accurate forecasting.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships ensuring satisfaction and service excellence.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally (marketing operations QA/RA) to optimize business and support product launches.

  • Monitor market trends competitor activity and national healthcare developments to identify growth opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies industry regulations and ethical standards.

  • Contribute to organizational growth by participating in Stryker initiatives and global projects.

What you need

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Management Business or a related field.

  • 5 years experience in sales with at least 3 years in a high-performing sales leadership role.

  • Proven ability to lead motivate and develop strong sales teams.

  • Demonstrated success in building customer relationships and achieving business objectives.

  • Solid understanding of healthcare including commercial aspects tenders and regulatory requirements.

  • Must-have experience in orthopedics ideally joint replacement.

  • Valid drivers license.

Travel Percentage: 60%
