Overview
Our client is a well-established retail/jewelry company and they are looking for an experienced Application Manager with a similar industry background to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of various systems including PowerBuilder application CRM warehouse sales and accounting systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements design and develop technical solutions to meet business needs
- Provide ongoing support and testing for implemented systems
- Manage vendors and ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products
- Mentor and guide an IT specialist in system management and development
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements
Qualifications
- Degree holder in Computer Science Information Technology or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in supporting retail system prior experience in jewelry business is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Powerbuilder is a must and skills /Java JavaScript MSSQL and database management
- Knowledge in CRM warehouse sales accounting and/or sourcing systems
- Excellent communication and with an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Commitment to diversity equality and inclusion in the workplace
- Good command in both written and spoken in English and Chinese (Cantonese)
