DescriptionHoneywell Aerospace is seeking a Materials Engineering Intern to support the Materials Engineering group at the Mississauga Ontario site.
ResponsibilitiesRESPONSIBILITIES
This role requires the individual to multitask across several concurrent tasks and assignments supporting Production Design and Quality groups.
- The individual will provide Materials Engineering support with guidance from senior level engineers.
- These activities can include materials and process selection completing customer deliverables technical problem solving failure analysis drafting specifications process development and execution of technical projects.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- Actively pursuing a Bachelors Degree in an Engineering Materials Science Chemistry or Metallurgy discipline from an accredited college or university.
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.

- Experience and knowledge supporting design and manufacturing of electronics assemblies (printed boards printed board assembly soldering / solder metallurgy conformal coating cable and wire harness assembly) mechanical assembly and joining (welding brazing fasteners adhesives) chemical processes (painting plating) castings composites.
- Experience and knowledge in the selection functionality and physical properties of materials.
- Experience reviewing/interpreting drawings material and process specifications and technical data sheets.
- Experience supporting production activities in a factory setting.
