Clinic Hearing Instrument Practitioner (Part Time)
Work in our beautiful North Vancouver clinic. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys steady clinic hours personalized client care and a collaborative low-stress environment. Youll conduct hearing assessments fittings ear wax removal and cognitive screenings supported by friendly administrative staff. Extended health benefits are available for those working at least three days per week including two Saturdays per month. Two days per week (no Saturdays is also an option)
Qualifications
- Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner or with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
- Skilled in hearing assessments hearing aid fittings reprogramming and counseling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and detail oriented with a strong commitment to client care
- Earwax removal certification is an asset (training available)
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hearing assessments and cognitive screenings in clinic
- Fit program and service hearing aids and assistive listening devices
- Provide hearing education and counseling to clients and families
- Perform earwax removal (training provided if needed)
- Maintain accurate and compliant records according to CHCPBC standards
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive clinic culture
