A long-established private family office in downtown Chicago is seeking an experienced Wealth Advisor to join its collaborative and professional team. The firm provides comprehensive wealth management trust administration and financial planning services to multiple generations of an ultra-high-net-worth family.
This role offers exposure to complex investment structures estate planning strategies and family governance all within a collegial intellectually engaging environment. The position is based in Chicago with a flexible hybrid schedule (three days in-office two days remote)
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and point of contact for family clients and related business entities.
- Support all aspects of wealth planning including cash flow management tax coordination estate planning and charitable giving.
- Partner with accountants attorneys investment managers and other advisors to execute comprehensive financial strategies.
- Analyze complex trusts financial plans and investment structures; prepare summaries and model planning scenarios.
- Manage account documentation transactions and financial records with accuracy and discretion.
- Participate in client meetings and provide thoughtful proactive solutions to client needs.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelors degree required; advanced education or professional credentials (CFP CPA JD MBA) a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning private wealth management or family office services.
- Strong analytical communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working across multiple disciplines in a dynamic confidential environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office eMoney and client relationship management tools.
