Are you an experienced accounting professional with a passion for accuracy efficiency and financial integrity Jetstream Personnel Consulting is seeking a Senior Accountant on behalf of our client a respected and growing organization in the Lloydminster area. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to play a key role in maintaining financial excellence and supporting long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
Support internal and external reporting requirements and financial analysis
Manage and maintain the general ledger ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliations
Lead month-end quarter-end and year-end close procedures
Oversee Accounts Payable processes including vendor payments and reporting
Support Accounts Receivable processes including invoicing collections and reconciliations
Assist with audits and tax filings ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements within the finance function

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree or diploma in Accounting Finance or a related field (required)
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting and tax compliance
Proficiency with ERP systems (Epicor experience preferred)
Excellent analytical organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
CPA designation (or working toward it) and experience in manufacturing or oilfield industries are considered assets
