Job Summary
An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Lead R&D Tech position covering GC Elemental & Physical property lab at Honeywell India Technology Center in Gurugram. This position seek to work in a highly dynamic work environment dealing with characterization & evaluation of complex molecules through wide range of analytical instruments. The candidate must be flexible to work in shift environment & in silent hours like Saturday / Sunday
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Hand on exposure on Gas Chromatography Combustion analyzer XRF along with basic laboratory instruments operation like Density KF Titrator Cold flow property measuring instruments.
- Collect organize and interpret data from instruments & enter those results into LIMS.
- Interact with R&D and Pilot Plant staff to provide support analyzing and characterizing materials for Honeywell UOP
- Maintain compliance with HSE policies and procedures and adopt HSE requirements for safe laboratory operations.
- Communicate well with co-associates in the group and with internal customers.
- Recommend and implement safety quality and productivity improvements.
- Occasional lifting and moving of bags samples and other objects up to 10 pounds may be required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- MSc in Organic / Inorganic / Analytical Chemistry .
- 3-4 years working experience in Refinery / Petrochemicals will be advantageous.
- Computer literate - including MS word and excel.
- Ability to work both independently and in team environments.
Key Success Factors/Profile
Customer focus and result oriented individual.
Basic knowledge on safety pertaining to laboratory operation.
- Knowledge on Foundational & fundamental chemistry with adequate knowledge on mentioned instrument is a must have.
