Integrated Mill Systems (IMS) is a process automation solutions provider. IMS designs builds programs and implements Level 1 control systems primarily in support of the metals producing and processing market providing a wide range of equipment and services for both new and retrofit projects. Position Overview:

TheOwners Representative Project Manager (ORPM)will be employed byIMSand serve as a trusted extension of our clients organization overseeing the successful execution of industrial and infrastructure projects. Acting on behalf of the owner the ORPM is responsible for managing all phases of project delivery from concept and design coordination through installation commissioning and turnover.

This individual will provide leadership technical insight and project control to ensure that scope schedule cost and quality objectives are consistently met. The role requires a strong background in bothelectrical and mechanical systems with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure alignment between IMS contractors vendors and the end customer.

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Primary Duties:

  • Serve as theowners on-site representative ensuring that all project activities align with the clients objectives technical standards and operational requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate all phases of the project lifecycle includingplanning engineering design review procurement installation commissioning and closeout.
  • Oversee the integration ofpower drive and mechanical equipment systems ensuring that both electrical and mechanical design deliverables meet project requirements.
  • Review and validatesystem layouts general arrangements and block diagramsrelated to power distribution networking controls and mechanical assemblies.
  • Evaluate and interpretelectrical mechanical civil and hydraulic drawingsto ensure complete and accurate implementation.
  • Conduct and documenton-site field assessmentsto verify existing conditions installation feasibility and safety compliance.
  • Leadinstallation and commissioning oversight ensuring system performance aligns with design intent and safety standards.
  • Manage contractors vendors and internal engineering resources to maintain quality control and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and timely project documentation includingschedules progress reports budget tracking and change management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while facilitating effective communication across all stakeholders.
  • Represent IMS and the end customer in all project meetings providing clear direction coordination and technical support.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization and value engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering(Mechanical Electrical or Industrial preferred) or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
  • Minimum5 years of experiencemanaging industrial automation capital equipment or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multi-discipline projects involvingmechanical systems power distribution and controls integration.
  • Strong understanding ofindustrial installation practices including mechanical rigging equipment setting conduit and tray routing and utility coordination.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpretingengineering drawings and technical specificationsacross multiple disciplines.

  • Exceptionalproject management and leadership skills with a focus on accountability and results.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strongcommunication and client relationship managementskills with the ability to represent both IMS and the customer professionally.
  • Knowledge ofsafety and guarding standards commissioning procedures and industrial construction practices.
  • Proficiency with standard project management tools and software (e.g. MS Project Primavera or equivalent).
  • Flexible collaborative and able to adapt to changing project demands or priorities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional growth technical learning and mentorship within the IMS organization.
