Job Description
The Department of Computer Science at Norfolk State University is seeking applications for a 9-month tenure-track Computer Science position at the rank of Assistant Professor. A review of applications will begin November 21 2025 and will continue until the position is filled. This position opened on November 12 2025 and there is a five consecutive workdays minimum posting requirement.
Responsibilities
Duties include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses advising and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students; developing curricula; serving on departmental school and university committees; performing appropriate scholarly and service activities; obtaining external funding and conducting research in computer science.
