We are searching for the best talent for Material Handler.

Overall purpose of job:

Performs a variety of duties to receive distribute assemble and store finished goods into sales warehouse or customer locations as directed. Will also perform materials receipt disbursement and related activities as directed.

Key responsibilities:

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson procedures and guidelines this position:

• Reads customer order work order shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved gathered or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size type style color or product code.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping station.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Maintains inventory records.
• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal State local and Company regulations policies and procedures
• Demonstrate independent understanding and application of core GMP fundamentals including but not limited to: Data Integrity (DI) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
• Performs other duties assigned as needed

Required Qualification and Core Competencies for the role:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Distribution/Warehousing experience preferred.
• Work activity within warehouse conditions involving material handling equipment and personnel within fast moving environment is required.
• Ability to carry out routine tasks with general instruction and new tasks with detailed instruction is required.
• Work well in a team environment is required.
• Reading/understanding of procedures to support Business critical activities that are compliant to Quality Management System is required.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Ability to wear safety shoes is required.
