DescriptionAs a Machinist - Level 2 here at Honeywell you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our machining processes run efficiently safely and in accordance with quality standards while optimizing production schedules. ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and maintain various machines such as lathes milling machines and grinders to produce precision parts and components
- Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and work instructions to determine machining operations and specifications
- Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or production issues to minimize downtime
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine performance and meet production goals
- Continuously improve machining processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and quality
QualificationsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machinist
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings

- Technical certification in machining or related field
- Experience with aerospace machining
- Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection techniques
