This role will be performed ONSITE in our Collins Aerospace location in Coralville IA. This is a 2nd shift role that will work 3pm- 12am.

What You Will Do

• Manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility. Works autonomously with limited oversight. May provide input or guidance to lower-level professionals with tasks and assignments
• Works to influence parties within and outside of work area at an operational level regarding policies practices and procedures
• Establishes the physical layout of machinery and the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow
• Plans the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work and routings
• Plans the allocation of resources materials and personnel to establish maximum utilization of equipment
• Conducts studies pertaining to cost control productivity improvement cost reduction inventory control and production record systems
• Perform defect and failure analysis
• Lead improvements in process yield quality cycle time inventory accuracy and delivery
• Report all manufacturing and/or quality problems with parts equipment etc. to the Process support and quality team
• Provides technical assistance and training support to floor and technicians.
• Work with design engineering in developing new products that are optimized for the manufacturing process
• Provides technical interpretation of drawings and specifications

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
