The Research Consultant serves as a core academic and technical expert at Aristocrat Research providing high-level guidance to scholars universities and corporate clients. The role involves designing research frameworks refining problem statements advising on methodologies analyzing data interpreting results and ensuring that clients research outputs meet international publication standards.
The consultant will work across multidisciplinary domainssocial sciences management engineering healthcare computer science and emerging technologiesoffering strategic input at every stage of the research lifecycle. The role also includes mentoring junior researchers reviewing manuscripts and ensuring that all research products align with ethical methodological and academic rigor.
Guide clients in formulating problem statements objectives hypotheses and research gaps.
Advise on research design sampling strategies methodology and statistical frameworks.
Review and refine literature reviews conceptual frameworks and theoretical models.
Conduct or supervise statistical analysis using SPSS AMOS R or Python.
Analyze data interpret findings and suggest improvements.
Review and edit manuscripts theses dissertations and proposals for academic quality.
Provide consultation for journal selection publication standards and peer-review compliance.
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain research accuracy and quality.
Conduct expert sessions or webinars on research methodology and publishing.
Ensure project delivery within timelines.
Requirements
Masters/PhD in any discipline (Social Sciences Engineering Management Life Sciences Data Science etc.).
Minimum 25 years of research or academic consulting experience.
Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Expertise in tools: SPSS AMOS NVivo R Python (any two preferred).
Excellent academic writing editing and critical thinking skills.
Familiarity with Scopus Web of Science ABDC and SCI journal standards.
Ability to handle multiple projects and guide junior researchers.
Strong communication and client-handling skills.
