This role performs maintenance troubleshooting diagnostics and mechanical repair to ensure reliable operation of critical infrastructure systems.

wastewater treatment systems lift stations and industrial pumping equipment. This role performs maintenance troubleshooting diagnostics and mechanical repair to ensure reliable operation of critical infrastructure systems.

wastewater treatment systems lift stations and industrial pumping equipment. This role performs maintenance troubleshooting diagnostics and mechanical repair to ensure reliable operation of critical infrastructure systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on pumps motors blowers valves engines and lift station equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and determine field repair vs. shop rebuild needs.
- Change oil filters gaskets and lubricated industrial equipment.
- Remove install and rebuild pumps and rotating assemblies.
- Operate cranes forklifts and hoist systems to move equipment.
- Read blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
- Maintain service logs order parts and support inventory needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 years of industrial mechanical experience
- Ability to read technical drawings and perform mechanical troubleshooting.
- Must own a standard set of mechanical tools.
- Excellent drivers license history to indicate a habit of safe driving.
- Valid Florida Drivers License (CDL A B or C may be required)
- Preferred or may be required based on assignment:
- Florida Class C Wastewater Collection Certification
- Respirator clearance (no facial hair at sealing surface)
- Security clearance / airport badge within 90 days (if applicable)
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Stoop bend climb kneel and work in confined spaces.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Exposure to noise chemicals and industrial environments
Working Conditions:
- Overtime nights and weekends and holiday rotation as required.
- Willingness to travel for projects in different counties.
- Outdoor environment which includes inclement weather and heat and humidity.
- Varying noise levels
- Must be able to use Personal Protective Equipment as required.
- Must be able to comply with the companys drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions and perform physical tasks as needed.
