We are seeking creative dynamic and committed teachers to join our team at Knoxdale Public School.

Knoxdale Public School is a French Immersion Centre located in a well-established community in Ottawas west end. At Knoxdale staff students and parents work together toward common goals - academic excellence social and emotional development and positive attitudes. Knoxdale has an enrolment of over 700 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6 representing diverse cultures and languages. Knoxdale Kindergarten program is proud to offer full day English/French Full Day Learning .

Ideal candidates will support the fulfillment of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Boards (OCDSB) Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of education in the school and the District by creating a positive and inclusive school climate learning and workplace environment. Candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with a human rights and equity perspective to foster student success achievement and well-being.

All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified.

If you are fully external to the OCDSB you may apply to this posting if you have the required qualifications. Please be advised that our order of consideration for Elementary LTOsis as follows:

1) current elementary occasional teacher applicants followed by

2) qualified external applicants.

1. At least three (3) teachers who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.
