Due to continued growth our client is seeking amotivated Casual Trainee Technicianto join their team in Townsville. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to build a long-term career in a hands-on fast-paced industry.

About the Role

As aTrainee Restoration Technician youll work alongside experienced and accredited professionals assisting with a variety of property restoration projects. This is aminimum 35-hour-per-week role offeringstructured on-the-job training the opportunity to completeIICRC certification and the potential to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with restoration works includingwater extraction structural drying cleaning and mould remediation
• Support withlight demolitiontasks such as removing plasterboard skirting vinyl carpet and underlay
• Help withcontents inventory packing and relocation
• Learn to operateindustry-specific equipmentand moisture detection tools
• Communicate effectively with clients supervisors builders and insurers
• Record project progress includingphotos and job notes using mobile or tablet apps

What Were Looking For

• Reliable motivated andwilling to learn no prior experience required
• Physically fitand comfortable with hands-on work
• Demonstratesinitiative and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication and presentation
• Works well bothindependently and in a teamenvironment
• Current Drivers Licence(manual preferred)
• Construction White Card desirable but not essential
