Job Summary

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person ESL lessons to two children (twins).

Location: Gibsonia Pennsylvania near Illumination Studios Photo Video 3666 Sandy Hill Rd Gibsonia PA 15044
Preferred start date: ASAP
Lesson format: Face-to-face in-person

Details

Availability: Monday to Thursday 5:00 pm 7:00 pm
Lesson Frequency: 2 times per week (individual lessons back-to-back)
Lesson Duration: 30 minutes per child
Current English level: Novice
Native/other languages: Spanish
Goals:
Build foundational English vocabulary for everyday use
Develop basic communication skills to prepare for school
Improve listening comprehension and pronunciation through interactive activities
Foster confidence in speaking English with peers and teachers
Additional Information:
Classes are individual but scheduled back-to-back for the siblings
Engaging playful lessons preferred to keep motivation high
Activities should balance structure with fun game-like learning

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging interactive ESL lessons tailored to young learners
Focus on vocabulary comprehension and early conversation skills
Incorporate songs games and visual aids to make learning fun
Create a warm patient environment that builds confidence and curiosity
Track progress and communicate updates to the family regularly

Qualifications

Native or near-native proficiency in English
Language-related degree. Teaching certification (TESOL TEFL CELTA or similar) preferred
Experience teaching ESL to young children
Ability to design creative age-appropriate play-based lessons
Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
