Job Summary
The Staff Accountantensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information in accordance with GAAP. This role supports internal reporting and external audit compliance contributes to the budgeting process and helps strengthen financial controls and improve accounting efficiency across the organization.
Location:Golden Valley MN
Hiring Range: $60000.00 - $83000.00(commensurate with experience)

What does this job look like daily
- Ensure timely closing of Accounts Receivable and reconcile to the General Ledger
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare and review journal entries and accruals for GAAP-compliant reporting
- Lead key components of the month-end and year-end close
- Prepare audit-ready workpapers and supporting schedules; respond to auditor requests
- Support preparation of internal financial reports and external reporting requirements
- Conduct offsite physical inventory counts
- Identify and implement process improvements and internal control enhancements
- Stay current on accounting standards and regulatory changes
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align accounting processes with business operations
- Provide backup support for general ledger accounting functions
What do you need to do this job
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience: 0-3 years experience
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with strong personal accountability
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines independently

About the Role
This role is office-based with regular working hours that may include earlier or later meetings to accommodate different schedules. The salary grade for this position ranges from $59350.20 - $83046.80 annually. While offers will be based on experience and qualifications the targeted pay range for this role is $65000.00 - $70000.00
