Job Summary
Position Description:
As an Application Analyst CLASS (m/f/d) youll play a key role in supporting and developing our proprietary clearing application CLASS. This system serves as the gateway for clearing transactions between our EMAXS acquiring platform and major international card schemes. On the issuing side CLASS connects with Mastercard for our ADVANTAGE issuers. Acting as a central processing platform CLASS also manages cross-border debit transactions (MAESTRO VPAY) across Acquiring and Issuing ATM and POS channels.
The role requires working from the office 5 days/week
Job responsibilities:
System support for the existing CLASS clearing platform
Collaboration throughout the entire software development process (analysis design development testing implementation and documentation)
Functional and technical contact for sub-areas of the clearing system
Successful collaboration with clients/customers and all departments involved
Compliance with the guidelines and procedures of the software development process
Troubleshooting in the event of production disruptions
Assuming second-level system availability on a regular team basis
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Completed computer science degree
IBM mainframe experience
Solid knowledge of COBOL
Solid JCL and scheduler knowledge
Solid knowledge of a relational database
Familiar with Scheme Clearing
Very good command of written and spoken Polish and English
Complex and analytical thinking skills
Strong goal-oriented systematic approach
Independent goal- and solution-oriented work
High level of commitment resilience and initiative
Team and partner orientation
Ability to work on-site in Warsaw five days a week this is a must
