Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Orem UT
Description
Assists the company controller by ensuring all accounting information is kept up-to-date.
Job Responsibilities
Updates the accounting system through a variety of tasks including:
Bank reconciliations
Journal entries
Balancing and analyzing general ledger accounts
Calculates taxes owed as needed
Performs miscellaneous accounting functions as requested by Controller
Assists in year-end audit
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Demonstrates basic understanding of accounting-related software including:
Dynamics.
Excel.
Works effectively in a high-pressure environment and is detail oriented.
Displays basic knowledge of accounting.
Works effectively both independently and in a team setting.
Multitasks effectively and efficiently.
Education and Certificates
BA/BS in Accounting or related field.
Previous accounting experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Sedentary work requiring lifting up to 10 lbs.
Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment.
Inside climate-controlled working conditions.
