Description

Were looking for a motivated student or recent graduate who wants to gain their first hands-on experience in technical customer support and learn about marine CO₂ reporting regulations.

If you like investigating how systems work solving problems and helping others this role is for you.

During this internship/ temporary employment youll support our clients by:

Responding to questions about the verification status of their plans and reports
Helping to solve repetitive technical issues and
Making sure they receive clear and timely communication.

Your main tasks will include:

Assisting customers by providing accurate updates on the progress of their plans and reports verification
Investigating and troubleshooting basic system-related issues
Replying to general queries related to CO₂ emissions
Working closely with internal teams to understand our processes systems and regulations.

Responsibilities

Hands-on experience in marine CO₂ reporting and environmental compliance
Structured onboarding from experienced professionals
Practical skill development in troubleshooting system investigation and client communication
Exposure to international regulations and industry practices in sustainability and shipping
Career foundation for future roles in engineering environmental technologies or data analytics

Qualifications

Were looking for someone who:

Is currently studying for or has recently completed a Bachelors or Masters degree in naval architecture mechanical engineering nautical studies environmental technologies or data analytics
Has strong English skills (written and spoken)
Is eager to learn technical troubleshooting and system investigation
Pays attention to detail and enjoys finding practical solutions
Can work full-time Monday to Friday for around 6 months.

Nice to have:

Basic knowledge of Greenhouse Gases and MARPOL Annex VI.

Security and compliance with statutory requirements in the countries in which we operate is essential for DNV. Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates as part of the offer process in accordance with applicable country-specific laws and practices.
