Job Summary

About the Role:

The successful candidate will help research and maintain U.S. news and politics content on a comprehensive online forward planning calendar which also covers entertainment lifestyle business and UK events


Main responsibilities include:

  • Researching and adding content to the Onclusive planning websites
  • Checking and editing items on a regular basis
  • Responsibility for content in specific U.S. states and subject areas
  • Processing incoming emails to confirm the accuracy of our content
  • Telephone and web checking content

Desirable qualities:

  • Knowledge of U.S. current affairs and an active interest in U.S. news
  • Good IT and typing skills and an ability to use the Internet and social media as effective research tools
  • High level of literacy familiarity with American English with strong grammar and spelling.
  • Ability to accurately interpret and summarise press releases
  • Good organisational skills and time management
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise large volumes of data effectively and work to strict daily and weekly deadlines
  • Good telephone manner
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Team ethic

Work Schedule:

  • Standard Work Week:5 days a week Monday to Friday.
  • Rotational Saturdays:To ensure coverage for the US team Saturdays will be a rotational working day for this team.
  • Late Evening Shifts:Shifts will extend until 11:00 PM IST to overlap with US business hours.
  • Holidays:Indian Holidays will not be off instead we have different holiday policy for this team.
