Job Summary

About the Role:

The successful candidate will help research and maintain U.S. news and politics content on a comprehensive online forward planning calendar which also covers entertainment lifestyle business and UK events

Main responsibilities include:

Researching and adding content to the Onclusive planning websites
Checking and editing items on a regular basis
Responsibility for content in specific U.S. states and subject areas
Processing incoming emails to confirm the accuracy of our content
Telephone and web checking content

Desirable qualities:

Knowledge of U.S. current affairs and an active interest in U.S. news
Good IT and typing skills and an ability to use the Internet and social media as effective research tools
High level of literacy familiarity with American English with strong grammar and spelling.
Ability to accurately interpret and summarise press releases
Good organisational skills and time management
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritise large volumes of data effectively and work to strict daily and weekly deadlines
Good telephone manner
Flexibility and reliability
Team ethic

Work Schedule:

Standard Work Week:5 days a week Monday to Friday.
Rotational Saturdays:To ensure coverage for the US team Saturdays will be a rotational working day for this team.
Late Evening Shifts:Shifts will extend until 11:00 PM IST to overlap with US business hours.
Holidays:Indian Holidays will not be off instead we have different holiday policy for this team.
