Responsibilities: This person is responsible for implementing the companys sales strategy by providing direction coaching and support to sales staff within the assigned district. All duties should be completed in accordance with company policy.
What Youll Do
- Utilize company sales strategy to set targets performance plans and objectives for Key Account Managers
- Conduct frequent communication with the sales team to review performance progress and targets
- Coach individual salespeople on sales performance and prospecting
- Participate in sales call rides and planned field days
- Counsel support discipline and terminate underperforming sales representatives
- Ensure the sales team utilizes sales technology correctly
- Plan and implement training programs
- Plan and lead sales team meetings for assigned territory
- Determine and assign sales quotas targets and/or goals
- Implement sales strategies to acquire new customers or clients
- Collaborate with region staff to develop lead generation plans
- Prepare budgets and approve expenditures
- Monitor competition economic indicators and industry trends within the region
- Provide input into and execution of a marketing strategy
- Continually look for ways to improve the sales process of the region
- Participate in continuous development by attending training opportunities participating in professional organization and networking

Qualifications
- A bachelors degree is preferred.
- One to two years of sales experience required.
