Job Summary

We are searching for compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team! Carolina Center for Specialty Surgery (CCSS) is seeking a Full-Time Pre-OP/PACU RN located in our mid-town Charlotte surgery center. CCSS is affiliated with Carolina Neurosurgery and Spine Associates. Experience and Skills:
  • Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of hospital or recovery experience.
  • Requires excellent communication skills with patients physicians and staff strong decision-making skills and is a self-starter who can work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management problem-solving multi-tasking and prioritizing are critical skills that all candidates must have.
  • Experience with electronic charting.
  • Always works toward an excellent patient experience.
Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Improves patient care by respecting each patients rights and conducting business relationships with patients and the public in an ethical manner.
  • Determines care required and skills needed to meet a patients initial needs as well as how they change in response to care and/or disease process. Demonstrates the ability to identify and respond to emergency situations.
  • Participates in continuous quality improvement efforts to improve patient health outcomes and facility efficiency.
  • Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate for the age health and mental status of patients served.
  • Obtains manages and uses patient-specific data and information to improve patient outcomes and individual and facility performance in patient care and support processes.
  • Follows all HIPAA and facility guidelines related to privacy policies procedures and protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned by changing needs patient flow or physician request.

Hours:
Monday Friday: hours will vary based on surgery schedules.
This position requires a current NC RN license.
