Job Summary

SUMMARY

The Social Worker - Bachelors Degree assists a Licensed Clinical or other Social Worker with their daily tasks to include providing material supportive services to students and their families in order to achieve maximum functioning and promote student achievement. Other duties may include but not limited to student assessments maintenance of student case files participation in multidisciplinary or IEP team meetings and weekly supervisory sessions. Serves as an integral part of a problem-solving team at the building level.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work

Reliable mode of transportation

Ability to work well with a team and multitask

Ability to manage time and problem-solve

Availability to work flexible hours as needed

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Bilingual Spanish/English

Previous experience in a school setting

Experience working with diverse or underprivileged populations.

Masters degree in Social Work

Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) provider

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

FBI fingerprint background check.

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization

Valid Drivers License

MVReport showing no more than the allowable points against Drivers License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliance greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees

FTE:1.0 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
