Amazons Global Fleet Electrification & Infrastructure (GFP E&I) team is seeking a results-driven leader with strong business judgment and cross-functional collaboration skills to own material planning for EV charging and electrical infrastructure. Our Material Managers are high-energy self-starters who thrive on building scalable processes that connect engineering sourcing logistics and construction to deliver critical EVSE to Amazons fleet charging sites worldwide.
As a member of the Electrification Supply Chain Team you will manage material readiness and orders across the Americas supporting Amazons growing network of fleet electrification projects. This roles primary focus is to build next-generation forecasting and demand-planning infrastructure for medium- and low-voltage electrical systems including switchgear transformers rectifiers and chargers. You will collaborate closely with design engineering deployment and supplier partners to develop an integrated data-driven forecast that aligns global supply with project demand. You will also be responsible for tracking and auditing material status from purchase order through site delivery ensuring supply continuity and implementing proactive strategies to mitigate risk and accelerate deployment.
Key job responsibilities
Lead end-to-end materials management for power distribution products and chargers across global projects.
Develop and execute demand- and supply-planning processes ensuring on-time equipment availability aligned with deployment schedules.
Partner with Engineering Sourcing and Construction to translate design changes and forecasts into executable procurement plans.
Manage Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cadence for electrification hardware integrating supplier lead-times and manufacturing constraints.
Build and automate forecasting models using internal data pipelines and supplier inputs to improve accuracy and reduce inventory exposure.
Drive supplier continuous improvement initiatives.
Track global inventory shipments and at-risk materials; mitigate disruptions through proactive allocation and supplier collaboration.
Support business reviews and executive updates on supply continuity delivery metrics and cost performance.
About the team

- Bachelors degree in engineering mechanical operations supply chain business administration or equivalent STEM field
- Experience in a highly analytical results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions
- Experience communicating technical details verbally and in writing
- Can work proactively and independently meet deadlines and deliver on projects and tasks
- 6 years of experience in supply chain management material planning and/or supply planning role
- Strong Working knowledge of S&OE and S&OP with implementation experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- 10 years of experience in Supply Chain (Forecasting Demand Planning Supply Planning Inventory Planning Materials Management Master Planning Scheduling Lifecycle management)
- Tools and Advanced Planning Systems Software
- APICS and/or IBF certification

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
