This role is based in New York reporting to the Global Consumer Themes & Programs Lead in London. In this fast-paced high-visibility role youll help shape and execute strategies that elevate LinkedIns voice strengthen our position as a trusted authority on the evolving world of work and build cultural relevance through data-driven insights legacy and emerging media engagement creators and creative partnerships.

Responsibilities:
Develop and drive global consumer communications frameworks embedding regional insights to ensure relevant and impactful storytelling.
Create core media materials owned content templates and toolkits that drive consistency quality and efficiency across markets.
Lead global coordination and act as the primary liaison for senior stakeholders and regional communications leads.
Lead emerging media relations for global themes supporting delivery of global creator programs and NAMER creator partnerships while identifying opportunities with new and emerging media outlets (global/NAMER).
Support the NAMER Comms Lead on media strategy and outreach for global campaigns
Drive the always-on consumer communications work developing playbooks and guidance for local activation including rollout of the Global Career Expert program.
Identify and activate cultural and editorial opportunities to keep LinkedIn relevant in global and regional conversations.
Use AI tools and data insights to identify emerging storylines test headlines and optimize media discoverability across LLMs.
Monitor analyze and report on coverage impact share of voice and cultural resonance.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience in Communications Marketing Journalism or related experience AND 2 years of experience in External Communications OR Bachelors Degree in Business Communications Marketing Journalism or related field AND minimum 4 years of experience in Communications Marketing Journalism or related experience AND 2 years of experience in External Communications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track record leading global communications strategies.
Demonstrated ability to make quick decisions navigate ambiguity and drive alignment among senior stakeholders in high-pressure situations.
BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience.
Excellent media relations skills.
Passion for culture workplace trends and data-driven storytelling.
Experience supporting editorial media or newsroom teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced unstructured and deadline-oriented environment and can manage multiple launches simultaneously.
Strong research and analytical skills; able to translate complex data into simple engaging narratives.
Demonstrated fluency with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT Claude Gemini Copilot) and curiosity about how AI is transforming communications journalism and discoverability.
Well-developed media relationships and the ability to grow new ones.
Exceptional writing editing and storytelling skills with a sharp editorial eye.
Proven attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.
High degree of integrity and sense of confidentiality.
Ability to demonstrate maturity and good judgment at all times.
Strategic thinker with excellent project management and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to stay on top of multiple projects at once.

The pay range for this role is $121000 to $190000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
