Senior Project Quality Manager

As the Project Quality Manager you will lead and implement the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) for major oil & gas and engineering projects. Act as the focal point for all quality matters interfacing with clients authorities and project stakeholders to ensure ISO 9001 compliance and contractual quality requirements.

Location: Project-based (International assignments)
Experience Level: Senior (8-15 years)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the Project Quality Management System across all project phases
• Manage Quality Control activities and ensure site QC implementation
• Conduct quality audits for vendors subcontractors and internal processes
• Plan and allocate quality resources across various project areas
• Interface with clients and authorities on quality matters
• Manage non-conformities corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead Project Quality Management Reviews and prepare quality reports
• Ensure quality requirements are incorporated into contracts with vendors and subcontractors
• Train project teams on quality requirements and company quality campaigns

Qualifications :

Education & Certification:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification required

Experience:

• 8-15 years in Quality Management roles within oil & gas construction or engineering projects
• Proven experience managing project quality systems and leading quality teams
• Strong background in quality audits and non-conformity management

Technical Skills:

• Expert knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Familiarity with international industry standards (ASTM ASME AWS API etc.)
• Experience with Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans
• Proficiency in quality management tools and reporting systems

Core Competencies:

• Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills
• Project coordination and leadership abilities
• Resource planning and workload management
• Contract review and vendor management
• Budget control and AFE processes
