YOUR TASK
As a Manager Transaction Advisory & Strategy you will work closely with our partners and our clients stakeholders to ensure the smooth coordination of our projects. With your experience in consulting you have worked on a wide range of projects in the tech fintech and SaaS sectors and have already gained experience in advising private equity clients.
While you work hands-on on larger projects you also coordinate tasks such as preparing quotations sector studies and similar with your team members.
You know the strengths and qualifications of your team and deploy them in a goal- and success-oriented manner.
You will accompany our partners and principals to client meetings and keep the clients needs and requirements in mind throughout the entire project. Your focus will be on delivering tailor-made results with clear and actionable recommendations as well as optimally planning our resources and supporting individual team members.
Look forward to diverse and challenging tasks such as:
- Independent management of advisory projects for private-equity investors in international transactions (focus: tech software IT services industrial tech)
- Development management and implementation of commercial due diligence projects on the buy- and sell-side as well as comprehensive analyses of business models competitive landscapes and market potentials
- Structuring presentation and validation of value enhancement and growth strategies for portfolio companies
- Active advice and conception of buy & build and digitalization programmes; preparation and presentation of equity stories and value creation plans
- Identification of new investment opportunities (e.g. through target screenings sector strategies market trends)
- Preparation and presentation of results reports workshops client meetings and strategic pitch presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Professional leadership coaching and development of consultants in day-to-day project work with both national and international teams
- Participation in business development: support in acquisition pitch preparation and the further development of our consulting services
- Cross-functional collaboration with international teams and experts for technology data and operations in the international private equity environment
Qualifications :
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- A completed masters degree in economics finance or a related discipline
- 5 years of professional experience in strategy or transaction consulting corporate finance or in the private-equity environment ideally with a focus on commercial or growth strategy in the tech or software sector
- Proven experience in independently managing projects and teams in a consulting environment (incl. budget and resource management)
- Extensive knowledge in developing corporate strategies business models and analysing M&A transactions
- Excellent analytical skills and strong solution-orientation coupled with leadership experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
