Job Summary
Biopharmaceutical Operations & Equipment
- Set up operate and troubleshoot large-scale equipment:
- Bioreactors centrifuges autoclaves
- Chromatography and filtration skids
- CIP/SIP stations
- Operate automated process controllers and perform cell culture in flasks bioreactors and fermenters.
Compliance & Documentation
- Perform all operations in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Write revise and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Complete required documentation:
- GMP records timecards order requisitions and reports.
Sample & Data Management
- Handle and store samples properly to ensure integrity.
- Collect and analyze process data using:
- Process control systems
- Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Facility & Safety Maintenance
- Clean production areas per SOPs.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies.
- Promote and adhere to safety protocols:
- MSDS guidelines PPE usage biohazard handling and safety training.
Communication & Teamwork
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- Communicate effectively across teams using verbal written and non-verbal methods.

Physical Demands
- Manual dexterity with hands and fingers
- Frequent wrist and forearm movement (twisting rotating)
- Prolonged standing throughout shifts
- Flexible schedule: availability for weekdays weekends holidays and overtime
- Lifting requirements: occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in:
- Biology Biochemistry Chemistry or other physical sciences
- Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
- Hands-on experience or knowledge in:
- Biopharmaceutical production
- Cell culture
- Harvest (centrifugation/filtration)
- Tangential and normal flow membrane filtration
- Chromatography
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques

Schedule & Location
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Shift: 1st Shift Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM overtime as needed
- Location: Kalamazoo MI
