As an integral part of Honeywell Aerospaces global Engineering and Technology (E&T) team we Aero China Engineering team provide world-class engineering and R&D capabilities to support Honeywell Aerospace growth including working with leading organizations like COMAC AVIC AECC CETC and CAAC to support the rapid growth of the Chinese commercial aerospace industry. We also support key global programs for Airbus Dassault Pilatus Embraer and Gulfstream.
The selected candidate would be working on Displays and Graphics Avionic Software Development for Honeywells latest integrated avionics system which includes unsurpassed integration capabilities best class navigation & situational awareness capabilities and most advanced pilot user experience. The current in-development programs include Dassault F6X Pilatus PC12 PC24 Dornier SeaStar etc.
ResponsibilitiesThe Software Engineer position is responsible for performing design and software engineering activities associated with the Displays & Graphics which includes:
- Implement Software based on Requirement;
- Support System checkout and Integration Test;
- Issue Investigation and troubleshooting;
- Perform Software Certification Activities based on criterion of FAA/EASA;
This role requires a strong knowledge and skills of software requirements implementing and related engineering lifecycles. The candidate would be working with various engineering groups.
Qualifications- Masters Degree or bachelors degree (211/985 GPA 3.5)in Aerospace Engineering Computer Science Electrical Engineering Automatic Control Engineering or a related field
- Willing to choose Avionic Engineering as long term career direction;
- Skilled in C/C programming on an embedded Real Time Operation System
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Good Learning Capability self-motivated
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive attitudes on task commitment and strong teamwork mindset
