The Opportunity:

Were seeking a Survey Technician to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a strong pipeline of work across the Greater Sydney region.

The Survey Technician delivers accurate survey data and design support across multiple projects playing a key role in project planning and overall delivery.

The role will involve travel to projects across Greater Sydney

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting a variety of land and property surveys including boundary identification topographic and subdivision surveys
  • Support cadastral survey tasks such as interpreting legal boundaries assisting in subdivision plan preparation and contributing to titling and registration processes.
  • Assist in preparing plans for Development Applications (DAs) subdivisions and construction set outs including documentation such as environmental statements.
  • Assist in preparing plans and survey reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop working knowledge of survey equipment including total station GPS Setout systems and drones.

What Were Looking For:

  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Surveying Civil Engineering or the equivalent
  • Previous experience in Autocad 12D Magnet and or Trimble Business Centre and/or other survey-related software (highly regarded but not essential)
  • White Card
  • Drivers Licence
  • Strong commitment to health safety environment and quality standards
  • A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative
  • Great communication and organisation skills including strong attention to detail
  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to problem-solve
