The Department of Biological Sciences at Seton Hall University invites applications for a full-time lecturer position. This non-tenure-track role is part of our commitment to excellence in teaching and student engagement.
The Department is experiencing rapid growth and is expanding its curriculum in areas including molecular biology health sciences data science cancer biology and environmental science. Our faculty of 12 primary members fosters a dynamic and collaborative academic environment with expertise spanning molecular biology bone biology immunology neuroendocrinology and virology. We offer graduate programs access to core research facilities and a vibrant scholarly community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach 24 credits per year in biological sciences at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. The appointment may be for either 9 or 12 months.
Participate in departmental college and university service activities
Contribute to curriculum development and student mentorship
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in biological sciences or closely related field. Strong applicants should be able to teach undergraduate and graduate students effectively in both a large and small classroom setting.

Experience teaching General Biology Cellular Biology Genetics Biochemistry Microbiology and/or Anatomy & Physiology
