Exciting Opportunity: Production Supervisor
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Production Supervisor leads the day-to-day operations of the Pre-Roll Department at our Kelowna facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced regulated manufacturing environment and is passionate about driving team performance product quality and continuous improvement.
What Youll Be Doing
- Leading and supervising production teams across three shifts ensuring schedules goals and quality standards are met
- Ensuring compliance with all SOPs GMP and security regulations for processing and packaging operations
- Maintaining safe work practices and enforcing company safety health and environmental policies
- Planning and managing shift scheduling training and workstation assignments for up to 40 team members
- Coaching training and mentoring employees to ensure competency in equipment operation and production tasks
- Monitoring performance attendance and adherence to production plans; taking corrective action as needed
- Overseeing inventory control for raw materials finished goods and by-products; supporting internal audits
- Reviewing and resolving quality issues implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Leading daily and weekly operational reviews to align production performance with company objectives
- Analyzing data to identify process improvements and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Promoting a positive collaborative work environment built on accountability communication and respect
- Reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management and providing feedback to teams
What Were Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education an asset)
- 23 years of supervisory experience leading teams of 10 employees in manufacturing or production
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven problem-solving skills and a positive solutions-driven attitude
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and compliance
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly
- Knowledge of GMP safety standards and production processes (asset)
