Job Summary

The JM Family College Internship Program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program you will actively contribute to your teams success learn about JM Familys companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities networking events and much more.

The ideal candidate will be available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program (May 26th 2026 - July 31st 2026).

Interns will engage in meaningful work and gain insights into specific projects or tasks providing hands-on experience and contributing to various department initiatives. They will learn about JM Familys culture including our core values: Consideration Cooperation Communication Innovation and Accountability. These core values are part of our keys to success and the skills that embody these values are what drive our success as an organization

The Incentives Intern will learn Southeast Toyotas (SETs) incentives processes and support the team in analyzing modeling and reporting incentive performance. This individual will collaborate with key departments and contribute to reports and analyses distributed to stakeholders gaining exposure to business strategy finance and the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the incentives model to ensure accurate and timely insights.
  • Provide projections and simulations to support decision-making processes.
  • Analyze data to understand trends and impacts on take rates costs and volumes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and ensure model accuracy.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Work with the captive finance company and accounting department to coordinate administer and strategize loyalty performance and targeted incentive offers.
  • Identify areas of inefficiency and streamline or automate incentives processes to save time capital and reduce errors.
  • Monitor competitors incentives and provide updates analysis and reporting.
  • Develop creative ideas for structuring more efficient and innovative incentives.
  • Provide ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old at the start of the program.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completed at least one semester of study at an accredited college or university.
  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Finance Economics or a related field.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication organizational and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and reengineer business processes for greater efficiency.
  • Desire to understand the organization automotive industry and associated strategies.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings effectively and contribute to cross-functional collaboration.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Demonstrates the companys core values of Communication Consideration Cooperation Accountability and Innovation.
