Job Summary
PALS Inc. is a leading southern California provider of services for adults with Intellectual Disabilities with offices in Santa Barbara Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
Our Santa Paula team is currently seeking a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide individual and group therapy for high functioning adults with mild cognitive challenges and a history of trauma and adjustment issues in the community. Santa Paula is a small specialized program and the ideal candidate has experience working with adults with emotional regulation challenges and a history of adverse childhood experiences; dialectical behavior therapy and/or is familiarity with the Skills System is a definite plus. For the interested clinician PALS does offer advanced training opportunities for this innovative program which is designed to keep adults in the community and to prevent them from returning to more restrictive environments.
