ResponsibilitiesIT Manager for Honeywell International Inc. (Charlotte NC)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for the effective design and delivery of critical services for our global organization in full business and IT strategy alignment.
- Experiment with emerging technologies while swiftly adapting to innovative landscapes while being the primary interface to all our Strategic Business Groups Leaders for defining these standards outlining requirements and driving the execution of growth and productivity within the space.
- Key member of the Event Services Leadership Team engaging in all aspects of running the business with a specialization of audio/video technology digital displays and conferencing solutions for fulfilling business objectives.
- Drive the IT Event Services Leadership role at Headquarters in Charlotte.
- Make a true showcase of Honeywell products in CXCs.
- Develop Video Conferencing Rooms strategy.
- Recommend IT solution roadmaps. Set global IT priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure security compliance.
- Manage expenses to IT Annual Operating Plan.
- Run MOS for solution delivery.
- Provide IT updates to key business stakeholders.
- Educate community on emerging technology.
- Manage IT professionals.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE:
- Qualified applicants must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology Computer Science Software Engineering Electronic Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience with IT/Video Conferencing support and delivery.
- Must have 2 years of experience with the following: AV (Audio and Video) management digital signage unified communications and VC technologies; deep understanding of technology practices with strong business acumen and customer focus; ability to translate new technology into business value; experience mentoring and guiding peers on emerging technologies.
- Must have the following certifications: Green Belt Six Sigma and ITIL Foundations.
- Up to 20% domestic and international travel required.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 2 times per week.
