DescriptionDesign Definition and Development of boards and electronic architecture for Aerospace & Defense navigation systems. As an Electronic Specialist you will be involved in the electronic hardware design and will be responsible for all aspects of the design process from concept to final release for series production including definition of architecture drafting of related documents and prototype testing.
Responsibilities- Proven experience with full HW development process (requirement definition Component selection schematic BOM verification documentation)
- Define or collaborate to define HW architectural and develop High level HW Conceptual designs
- Simulations analyses and real -time measurements in laboratories
- Support of Board production cycle and related analyses to deliver First Time Right prototype
- Maintenance of the entire PBA life cycle together with probable improvements
- The resource is meant to act as mentor in a team of 10 engineers
QualificationsRequired skills
- Bachelors degree in electronic engineering or similar
- At least 5 years of experience in electronic design (analog & digital)
- Advanced knowledge of laboratory instruments (such as oscilloscopes)
- Experience with eCAD such as Altium Designer or Mentor Xpedition
- Knowledge of Mixed mode components such as DACs ADCs SoCs MCUs FPGAs
- Experience in programming and debugging microcontrollers
- Basic knowledge of PCB manufacturing process
- Basic Knowledge of board assembly process
- Knowledge of English Language both in writing/reading technical documentation (at least B1 level)
Preferred Skills
- Masters degree in electronic engineering or similar
- Experience in FPGA design with Xilinx Platform
- Experience with IBM Rational DOORS tool
- Attention to detail excellent precision ability to communicate through frequent meetings and thorough documentation to keep the team fully updated and focused to the goals
- Experience with certification process such as RTCA DO-254
- Advanced knowledge of inertial sensors.
- Basic Knowledge of principles of EMI/EMC
Soft Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attitude to work in a team
- Attitude to work in pipeline and meet deadlines
