As a Maintenance Contract Manager youll play a pivotal role in coordinating contractors and stakeholders to ensure homes are safe well-maintained and compliant. What youll do

• Lead and manage contractor relationships to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services and customer satisfaction

• Resolve contractual disputes and complaints efficiently maintaining a focus on fair outcomes and service continuity

• Monitor and report on contractor performance against agreed KPIs driving accountability and continuous

  improvement

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and implement service enhancements

• Oversee contract budgets ensuring financial control and value for money across all service areas

You have

• A RICS or CIOB degree accredited Building Surveying degree or similar qualification or strong equivalent experience built up through your working profession (that can be evidenced)

• Strong knowledge of housing building legislation and compliance

• Experience of managing contractors and resolving disputes

• Confidence using data to drive decisions and performance

• An experienced people manager

The practical bits

• Youll work Monday to Friday.

• Youll work core hours between 08:30 to 16:30 with flexibility built in

• We typically work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in our Durham or Newcastle upon Tyne office with the rest from home.

• You need a vehicle insured for business use and we pay your mileage

• You need a Basic DBS check that we pay for.
