FORD TRANSMISSIONTECHNICIAN

We have an excellent opportunity for a Transmission Technician to join our team!
We are offering you an opportunity to work alongside some of the best and brightest technicians in the industryin a newly renovated building!
Youll stay on top of your game by having access to ongoing training programs as well as participating in on the job training within our exciting fast paced environment.
Compensation commensurate with experience - $45-55 per hour

What youll be doing:

• Examine and diagnose vehicles as outlined in Repair Orders
• Discuss repairs with the Service Advisor or Service Manager
• Remove and disassemble transmission unit and performs repair/replacement
• Provide labor estimates and communicate additional service recommendations to the Service Advisor
• Monitor repair time and update Service Advisor
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees
• Attend company and factory training plus keep current with factory technical bulletins
• Understand and follow federal state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a valid drivers license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Knowledge on transmission replacement and repair
• Previous Ford experience Preferred
