Clinical Pharmacist Inpatient / LTAC Hospital (Day Shift Multi-Site)
Overview
A leading long-term acute care hospital network is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations across two facilities in the Greater Denver area. This role provides a mix of clinical and operational pharmacy services including sterile compounding medication verification and multidisciplinary collaboration. The position requires occasional floating between sites and offers a consistent daytime schedule. Professionals who thrive in fast-paced acute care environments will excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and interpret medication orders for clinical appropriateness and patient safety.
- Prepare compound and dispense medications in compliance with sterile compounding standards.
- Perform pharmacokinetic dosing clinical monitoring and therapeutic interventions as needed.
- Review patient profiles for interactions duplications and allergy considerations.
- Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to USP sterile compounding guidelines.
- Support controlled substance management and maintain pharmacy security standards.
- Provide oversight guidance and workflow support for pharmacy technicians.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and care teams to optimize medication therapy.
- Deliver medication-related education to staff and patients when appropriate.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and assist with required pharmacy reporting.
- Stay current with new medications clinical guidelines and best practices.
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Pharmacist License in good standing.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong sterile compounding and clinical dosing competencies.
- Ability to float between facilities within the Greater Denver metro area.
- Familiarity with common EMR systems preferred.
Work Environment & Schedule
This is a full-time daytime position supporting two acute care facilities in the Denver metropolitan region.

- SaturdaySunday: 09:0015:00
- Call may be required depending on operational needs
- Regular multi-site coverage within the area
