About the role:
Are you passionate about software quality security and being a member of a high-impact team Join us at Black Duck a leader in application security where we drive intelligent context-aware risk management solutions. We seek aSeniorSoftware QA Engineerto work with the QA Automation engineering team ensuring the code quality of the Continuous Dynamic product line and performing manual and automated tests of web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with QA Automation engineers to ensure high-quality delivery of Continuous Dynamic product line through manual and automated testing of web applications.
- Execute andmaintainautomation suites including rebasing and expanding automation jobs in CI/CD pipelines.
- Gain hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes) within a continuous integration lifecycle.
- Perform acceptance regression usability and exploratory testing tovalidateproduct functionality and user experience.
Mandatory Skills and Experience:
- 4 years of hands-on QA experience in web application testing within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong knowledge of programming concepts Linux command-lineproficiency and scripting experience (Python preferred; Ruby or Perl acceptable).
- Practical experience with web automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriverRobot Framework).
- PracticalexperiencewithAPI testing and automationutilizingPostman (or equivalent tool)
- Solid understanding of defect tracking systems (JIRA Bugzilla).
- Experiencewith CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
- Mustpossessthe ability to learn quickly and be a resourceful problem-solverseekingto understandthe why behind the what to ensure long-term results
- Excellentdefect reporting and communication skillsarerequired
- Team-oriented mindset with ability to build consensus.
- BE/BTech/MCA/4 years BSDegree in an Engineering or equivalent
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with KubernetesDockerand Ansible
- Experience creating test cases based on design documentation (knowledge ofTestLinkis a plus)
- Familiarity with and/orleveragingAWS-hosted QA environments for deployment automation and validation tasks primarily within dedicated QA instances
- Exposure to security testing or application security tools is a plus
