Job Summary and Responsibilities
Committed healthcare provider delivering high-quality patient-centered nursing care to infants children and their families in PEDS and NICU settings. As Staff Nurses responsibilities include assessing patient and family health problems and resources taking a leadership role in the development implementation and evaluation of individualized nursing care plans. This role provides professional nursing care and critical interventions to a critically ill patient population requiring the ability to provide service to diverse age groups from ill children through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of their functional and developmental needs
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- Current California RN License
- Current BLS and PALS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Current NRP Certification
- Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year recent acute care experience
- Computer literacy preferred
- Bachelor degree in health related field preferred
