Job Summary
Our client a Civil Litigation Public Entity Defense Firm is seeking two associates to join a growing practice. Our client is looking for one attorney with sufficient experience to independently manage aggressively litigated high-exposure matters and a second attorney with one to three years of experience who is eager to learn develop and assume increasing responsibility. Experience with employment litigation is strongly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic advanced legal research and writing skills and a positive productive approach to their work.

Responsibilities
Manage assigned cases
Draft motions oppositions replies and other pleadings
Analyze legal issues exposures and potential defenses
Prepare and respond to written discovery
Evaluate damages claims
Collaborate with attorneys at all levels
Provide guidance to junior attorneys
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active bar admission in good standing
Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Commitment to ethical legal practice
