At Philips Avent we design meaningful innovations that make life better for parents and babies around the world. Within ourResearch Design & Advanced Development team in Amsterdam & Eindhoven we explore whats next: the ideas experiences and technologies that will define baby care in the next 10 years. Were looking for acuriousempatheticand technically skilleddesign studentwith strong design and sketching skillswho wants to help shape thefuture of baby care. Youll work alongside our designers and engineers to visualize prototype and test new product ideas from first sketches to early consumer feedback. This internship is perfect for a design student who loves to combineuser-centeredcreativity hands-on making and strategic thinking and whos not afraid to experiment withnew tools like AI 3D CAD and renderingto bring ideas to life fast.
Collaborate withexperiencedesigners and engineers tocreatevisualize and prototypeearly product concepts.
Dive curiously into our users worldstounderstand their challengesand translate those insights intovaluable ideas driven by empathy
Supportfront-end innovation projects turning ideas into tangible experiences we can test with consumers.
Createcompelling visualizations and mockupsthat communicate product ideas clearly and inspire discussion.
Explorefuture scenarios and vision conceptsthat imagine where Philips Avent could be in 10 years.
Use and experiment withcreative tools from 3D CAD and rendering to generative AI and video storytelling.
Help ustest iterate and refine ideasquickly in the front-end funnel.
Youre the right fit if:
Youre studyingIndustrial or ProductDesignat Bachelors or Masters level
You love the intersection ofdesign technology anduserexperience.
Experience or curiosity with tools likeSolidWorks Rhino Fusion 360 KeyShot Blender or similar.
An interest in(future) trendsandvisual storytelling(e.g. rendering animation or short video creation).
Eager to exploreAI-powered creative toolsfor concept generation or visualization.
Strongsketching and ideationskills and a drive to make ideas tangible.
Acollaborativehands-on and proactiveattitude.

Next to that we are offering a decent internship package:
Monthly full-time allowance between 500 - 700 gross depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
Housing compensation in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office 300- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam 255- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
Travel compensation if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. 192- net.
Paid holidays per internship term.
The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop.
