What Youll Do

• Develop engineering designs layouts and tool solutions for subsea applications.

• Create process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to bring concepts to life.

• Perform engineering calculations finite element analysis (FEA) and design verifications for reliable performance under extreme conditions.

• Design machined parts using GD&T and CAD tools like SolidWorks or Inventor.

• Write technical reports participate in design reviews and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.

• Ensure designs comply with API 17H 17D RP 2A and other relevant offshore engineering standards.

What You Bring

• 5 years of experience in offshore/subsea tool design.

• Expertise in SolidWorks (preferred) or Inventor for CAD modeling.

• Strong knowledge of machining tolerances GD&T and fabrication techniques (stainless steel steel aluminum).

• Proficiency in Excel MathCad or other engineering software.

• Problem-solving mindset with hands-on troubleshooting experience.

• Experience with ROV tooling is a plus but not required.

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with PDM Vault systems and corrosion protection standards (DNV RP-B401).

• Knowledge of ASME Sec 8 (pressure vessel design) and AISC standards (structural design).

• Expertise in seal design (static & dynamic) and material classifications for subsea use.

• Ability to independently design complete machines.
