Job Description

The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of an interdisciplinary care team delivering high-quality safe and compassionate patient care. This role collaborates with licensed and unlicensed caregivers to ensure individualized care for patients families and significant others.

The clinical environment is supported by Nurse Managers and guided by the Wellstar Shared Governance Model the Wellstar Professional Practice Model evidence-based practice and research.

RNs are expected to practice in accordance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and uphold the ANA Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics. As part of the patient services team the RN advocates for patients while adhering to system policies procedures and service excellence goals.

Requirements

Experience:
- ER or Observation experience required
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
Licensure:
- RN - Single State (GA) or RN Compact
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
